Imagination as a Spiritual Practice of Resistance

In a world fractured by violence, what does it mean to imagine otherwise? This workshop will explore imagination as a biblical and spiritual practice of resistance. Drawing on Scripture, especially practices of lament and the witness of the early church in Acts 2, alongside lived experience from the Palestinian context, Dr. Lamma Mansour will lead us in reflection on how imagination can be a bridge between the here and the not-yet of God's kingdom.

This is part of the ‘Friday Fast For Justice’ virtual workshop series by Georgetown’s Center on Faith and Justice
